Katherine
Heigl was born and raised in Connecticut, with her
parents, two older brothers and one older sister.
There the natural blonde got started as a child
model in a Sears catelog. She the moved on to doing
commercial work, which eventually open doors for
major film roles. At first, small roles like in
the film "That Night" and "King Of The Hill". But
in 1994, Katherine got a breakthrough as the main
character in the movie "My Father The Hero", playing
Gerad Depardieu's resetful daughter. This soon lead
to her playing Steven Segal's niece in the movie
"Under Siege 2: Dark Territory". After filming "Under
Siege 2", Katherine was flourished with fame, appearing
on "David Letterman" and "Jay Leno", and on the
cover of Seveteen Magazine. Following her high school
graduation, Katherine moved to California to concentrate
on actuing full-time. She starred in independent
featured films like "Prince Valiant", "Stand-In's"
and "Wish Upon A Star".
In 1998,
Katherine became part of the Chucky sequels, when
she joined the cast to film the cult-hit, "The Bride
Of Chucky". Despite the horror of Chucky, the 5'9"
actress went on to co-star with Peter Fonda in the
TV-Movie, "The Tempest". Now Isabel Evans on the
WB TV Hit Show Series "Roswell", Katherine plays
the most unknowable, ut yet most intriguing, character.
On the surface, Isabel seems cold, aloff and unfeeling,
but deep down she is at heart with a vulnerable
soul, longing to have a normal life. Wanting to
fit into the world that she calls home, but on oe
hand, she's fiercely protective of Max and Michael,
and will use her considerable powers to protect
them in anyway. But on the other hand, she's is
also the most popular of the three and she blends
in with her chosen enviroment through her beauty
and apparent lifestyle. |
