She
was originally from Pennsylvania but she moved to
New York City where she appeared in many stage productions
off of broadway, did a number of television commercials
and helped out for a non profit arts and education
program for street kids. In each of her film and
television roles she brings great depth and emotion
to her characters and builds on her earlier successes
and failures. For her it's alright to fail if you
learn something in the process
Maria
is best known for her role in ER. Since then she
has gone on to Screen Actors Guild Award and she
has also stared in films such as Payback and Permanent
Midnight. Recently she has done films like Autofocus
that help her develop her acting skills further.
She has been doing film almost exclusively in the
last few years and things are looking up for her.
She has yet to find a breakthrough role in film,
although her role in Coyote Ugly came close to boosting
her to the limelight. We'll keep our eye on this
one for all you fans out there. |
