Alyssa
Milanos' career in show business has ranged from
beautiful to downright ugly. She started as Samantha
on the runaway success "Who's the Boss?" with Tony
Danza. But from that point on, things began to look
very bleak for Alyssa. She was with the show throughout
its run, ending with Sam married and off to live
a new life. Alyssa also started a new life after
the show, turning to pop music and releasing a few
albums that did well in Japan and Europe. But they
were flops in the United States.
She then
looked to film, but didn't have huge success. The
two films, "Embrace of the Vampire" and "Poison
Ivy 2" were considered soft porn in some sectors.
With the lack of success Alyssa was having in film,
she decided to give television another shot. Her
role on Melrose Place brought her out to the public
eye, once again and sent her career rebounding.
She was then named as an early replacement in the
cast of Charmed (costarring Holly Marie Combs and
Shannen Doherty). Her role on this show built Alyssa
into a major star, and she seems well on her way
to comfortable success. Her love interests have
remained somewhat silent, causing many to raise
a curious eyebrow. Regardless, Alyssa seems to be
enjoying the perks of celebrity, and shall continue
to enter our living rooms for years to come. There
are rumours that she swings both ways. But we all
know that Hollywood rumours are just that, RUMOURS! |
